Splash into Summer


Splash Parks offer a great way to stay cool and meet others in your community.  Another great thing about splash pads is that many are free!  Below is a listing of area splash parks.





  • Daytona Beach

Breakers Oceanfront Park (13 S. Atlantic Avenue): This park has over 2.5 acres of sandy beach front, splash pad, picnic areas, playground, outdoor showers, restrooms and more. Park hours are sunrise to sunset. Admission is Free.

Cypress Aquatic Center (925 George W. Engram Blvd): This aquatic center has 6 waterplay structures, zero-depth area, curving water slide, concession area, locker rooms, picnic areas, restrooms and more. Hours vary based on season. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 per person 17 years and younger.

Sun Splash Park (611 S. Atlantic Avenue): This park has an interactive water fountain, shaded playground, picnic areas, outdoor showers, restrooms and more. Park open sunrise to sunset.  Interactive water fountain open daily March 1 through Nov. 30 from 10am-5pm. Admission is Free.

James Park (1700 James Street, South Daytona): This park has a splash pad, three baseball fields, two racquetball courts, a tennis court, restrooms and more. Park open sunrise to 10mp.  Admission is Free.

  • Jacksonville

The Pirate's Play Village Sprinkler Park at Adventure Landing (1944 Beach Blvd.): This three story, interactive water play area features 12 slides, nozzles that squirt and spray water, waterfalls and lots of nooks and crannies for exploring. Park hours vary. Admission starts at $24.99 per person.

Jacksonville Zoo Splash Ground (839 S. Atlantic Avenue): Get wet in the 4,000 square foot splash ground.  Open March through September from 10am to 30 minutes before zoo closing. Admission starts at $12.95 for children and $17.95 for adults.

Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park (500 Wonderwood Drive): This park is a 450-acre oceanfront park with beaches, a freshwater lake, trails, playground, picnic pavilions and full service campground.  The sprinkler park is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The splash park is a great place for children under four feet to cool off in the summer, and the nearby playgrounds are fun for kids of all ages year round. Open daily. Admission is $5 per car (up to six people).

Losco Regional Park  (10931 Hood Road South): This park offers a small splash pad, soccer fields, two playgrounds (one for toddlers and one for older kids), paved trail, outdoor grills, picnic area, restrooms and more.  A small park but lots of shade.  Admission is free.

Murray Hill Playground (4208 Kingsbury Street): This park offers a splash pad, baseball fields, playground, walk path, picnic area, restrooms and more.  Admission is free. 

South Beach Park and Sunshine Playground (2514 S Beach Pkwy): This park offers a splash pad that is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, skate park, three volleyball courts, basketball court, all-purpose field, tennis court, two grills, six picnic shelters, playground, restrooms and more.  Admission is free. 

  • Ormond Beach

South Ormond Neighborhood Center (176 Division Avenue): This park has a splash pad, playground, baseball field, tennis courts, outdoor grill, picnic area, walk/jog bike path, restrooms and more. Park hours are M-F 1pm-9pm, Saturday 11am-5pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm. Admission is Free.

Andy Romano Beachfront Park (839 S. Atlantic Avene): This park has a splash pad, shaded playground, outdoor grill, picnic area, restrooms and more. Park hours sunrise to sunset. Admission is Free.

  • Port Orange

All Children's Park (5959 S. Spruce Creek Road): This park has a splash pad, playground, baseball field, tennis courts, outdoor grill, picnic area, walk/jog bike path, restrooms and more. Admission is Free.


  • St. Augustine

Splash Park at the Pier (350 A1A Beach Blvd): This park has a splash pad, baseball fields, tennis courts, dog park, picnic area, restrooms and more. Park hours are sunrise to sunset. Splash pad admission is Free.  Pier sightseeing - $1, Fishing $2-$3.
