July is Parks and Recreation Month ~ 2017

July is national Parks and Recreation Month, and the City of Palm Coast’s Parks & Recreation Department invites everyone to “Get Your Play On” at a month’s worth of fun events!

With 14 City parks, a public pool, more than 125 miles of trails and paths, a golf course, a tennis center, a community center, and many recreational programs for adults, teens and children, it’s easy to enjoy leisure time in Palm Coast! Fun activities are planned all month long to give everyone an opportunity to experience parks and recreation opportunities.

“This year we are encouraging our residents to get outside and enjoy playtime in our parks and recreation facilities,” said Parks & Recreation Director Alex Boyer. “Play is so important for a happy and healthy quality of life. Inspire family playtime at some of our events, such as Food Truck Tuesdays featuring a special BMX event at Central Park and Parks & Play Night at Holland Park.”
