Palm Coast Food Truck Tuesdays - October 2016

Come out for Palm Coast's Food Truck Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 18, and support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which provides free books each month to preschoolers in Flagler County.

Food Truck Tuesdays are held on the third Tuesday of each month, along Park Street next to Central Park in Town Center. The address of Central Park is 975 Central Ave., Palm Coast.

Each Food Truck event features free entertainment and about a dozen food trucks - mobile kitchens, canteens and catering trucks that offer up gourmet foods including appetizers, main dishes, side dishes and desserts. Many menus are kid-friendly. Live music will be provided as the free entertainment this month!

Proceeds this month will go to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Flagler County. This national program was started locally by the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Flagler Class 18, and continues to be administered by the Chamber Foundation. The program puts books in the hands of every young child in our community to read and keep for their very own. Children enrolled receive a new, age-appropriate, high-quality book sent to their home every month - at no cost to their families.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is operated completely on donations and costs about $2,400 per month. There are currently 1,150 children in Flagler County enrolled, including 975 in Palm Coast, 105 in Bunnell and 70 in Flagler Beach.

The food trucks signed up for October include: Café Rouge, Ritter's Frozen Custard, My Cousin Vinny, The Garbage Can, Caketeer, Personal Chef, Woodson's Wrap Shack, Arrested Appetite, Big Kahuna Kettle Corn, Kona Ice of Flagler County, The Good Food Truck, Bruster's/Nathan's, Magic4urPlate, Monsta Lobsta, London Fish & Chippy, It's All Greek to Me, El Cubanito Subs, Flaming Pizza, El Cubanito Subs, Snowie Bus, and Barnwood Bar-B-Que.

Food Truck Tuesdays is presented by the City of Palm Coast Parks & Recreation Department. For more information, call 386-986-2323 or
