Summer Pool Events at Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool in Palm Coast ~ 2016


The City of Palm Coast’s Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool is located at 339 Parkview Drive, off Belle Terre Parkway. 

Summer hours will be noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. weekdays.

Mark your calendars for these summer activities at Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool:




Longfellow’s Whale Tales – Sundays, May 22, June 26 and July 17, 4:30-5:30 p.m. This once-a-month program will teach children the importance of water safety in a fun environment of active pool games. Regular pool admission applies.

Tribute to the Troops – Monday, May 30, noon-6 p.m. Free admission for military personnel, retirees and families who present their ID cards.

Swim Fitness Challenge – Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 31 to Aug. 25, 4-7:15 p.m. Improve your overall fitness! Participants will compete against each other and themselves to swim a total of 25 miles in 18 weeks, using the pool’s lap lanes. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers. Regular pool admission applies.

Wacky Wednesdays – Every Wednesday from June 15 to Aug. 3, 5:30-7 p.m. with family fun, games and prizes. Half-price admission begins at 5:30 p.m.

Dive In Movie – Friday, June 17, 8 p.m. (movies starts at 8:30 p.m.). Enjoy an ‘oldie but goodie’ hit movie on the giant screen while floating around in the pool. The June flick is “Sponge Bob Square Pants; Sponge Out of Water.” $1 admission. Dive In Movie will also be held Friday, July 22.

World’s Largest Swim Lesson – Friday, June 24, 10 a.m., with registration at 9:30 a.m. Join thousands of swimmers across the world for a swimming lesson aimed at preventing childhood drowning. Free admission.

The Pool Awakens…Star Wars Party - Saturday, June 25, 2-4 p.m. Enjoy Star Wars-themed games, music and activities at the pool. Half-price admission all day.

Everything Beach Ball – Saturday, July 16, 2-4 p.m. Enjoy a day of beach ball games and activities. Half-price admission all day.

Superhero Swim – Saturday, July 30, 1-4 p.m. Help celebrate the end of July is Parks & Recreation Month with a superhero celebration! Dress as your favorite superhero and participate in games and activities that test your courage and honor. Half-price admission all day.

Member Appreciation Day – Sunday, Aug. 7, 8-10 p.m. This is an after-hours party for pool members and their families. Free, but open only to pool members. Membership info is available at:http://www.palmcoastgov.com/pool
